Dirk Kunesch

He was born on 28/7/1967.
He started his musical career at the tender age of 7, performing with the local flute ensemble of his village in south Germany. <The parents were well equipped with earplugs>.
Eleven years old he fell in love the trumpet, joining the school orchestra, later the big band.
He left Germany and performed with several rock & jazz ensembles both as trumpetist and singer, traveled South-East Asia, picked up tunes of lndia, studied harmonic chanting and the Dijiridoo, and finally arrived in Israel where he presently lives with his wife Yael, and small son Ophir, performing with the theater group "Clipa" and "Yiddish Express".
